We specialize in providing medium-sized grants to small and established non-profit organizations, who address local issues in areas of Education, Social and Economic Integration and Technology or those from fragile and unstable communities.
Through our ATX Grants Programme, we make grants in the categories listed below and have given examples of the type of work we prioritise for support:
Provision of Outreach Services, this is the form providing a service to a group or community that involves public awareness and or healthcare services. National Health Fund operated services will not normally be funded and nor will core medical staff.
Advice, support and counselling services for people who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender.
Advice, support services for people experiencing mental health problems and projects that promote positive mental health.
Provision of service in the creating awareness and best practices in the care and managements of our environment, this included clean-up and re-forestation projects and wildlife conservation.
Projects and services that help maximise the potential of young people who experience educational, social and economic disadvantages.
Projects and services that help minimise the negative effects resulting from an emergency (local, regional or international), man-made or natural. This assistance should positively affect the vulnerable in the provision of counselling services and other aid.
ATX Foundation has a board of 4 directors, who meet twice a year to determine the general policy of the charity. In between these dates, the Grants and Finance Committee meets quarterly to select the projects for approval and to manage the finances of the Foundation and produce its annual grants budget.
Operational management of the ATX Foundation is carried out by Mr./Miss/Mrs. John/Jane Doe, Operational Coordinator and supported by 2 staff employees.
